Sustainability:
Sai Yok Springs – a closed loop, sustainability & community focused mineral water.
.
At the heart of everything we do lies a deep-rooted commitment to sustainability. It’s not just a policy or an afterthought; it’s an integral part of our identity and the very reason we founded this company. We believe that every action, big or small, must be considered through the lens of its environmental and social impact, ensuring that we are building a business that thrives responsibly and contributes positively to the world around us.
Our mineral water has an up to 89% lower carbon footprint than most single use bottled mineral waters.
- Transportation: The ecological barrier of transporting water thousands of kilometers in single use containers leaves a significant footprint on the environment.
- Energy: Our bottling facility is 80% solar powered, with the remaining energy being sourced from Kanchanaburi hydropower system
- Packaging Reuse: Our closed loop packaging is reusable up to 200 times.
- Avoidance of Plastics: Reusable glass bottles (after 3 cycles), produce 85% less emissions than single use glass bottles and 70% less than single PET
- Local Impact: A revenue share is given to fund the local school and temple, provide organic farming assistance, and help with English education for the village.
